The Prosci Methodology: A Structured Approach to Change

A Research-Based Approach

Prosci's methodology is built on over 25 years of research with more than 10,000 participants across 90 countries. It provides a structured, adaptable framework for managing the people side of change.

The Three Components

  • ADKAR Model: A goal-oriented model for individual change (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement).
  • PCT Model: The Prosci Change Triangle defines the four key aspects needed for success: Leadership/Sponsorship, Project Management, Change Management, and the change itself.
  • Prosci 3-Phase Process: A structured approach to creating change management plans: Phase 1 (Prepare Approach), Phase 2 (Manage Change), Phase 3 (Sustain Outcomes).
"ADKAR is not just a model—it's a diagnostic tool. When a change stalls, ADKAR tells you exactly where the barrier is."
