Defining Change Management
Change management is the discipline that guides how we prepare, equip, and support individuals to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational success and outcomes. It focuses on the people side of change.
Why Change Management Matters
Projects with excellent change management are 6x more likely to meet their objectives. Without it, even the best-designed solutions fail to deliver value because people don't adopt them.
- Individual Change: Understanding how one person makes a change successfully (ADKAR model).
- Organizational Change: The steps and actions needed to support hundreds or thousands of individuals through a change.
- Enterprise Change: Building organizational competency to manage change as a strategic capability.
"Change management is not a soft skill. It is a discipline with proven methodologies, tools, and return on investment."
